Prerequisite: A Basic Bowl Turning Class Is Recommended Tools Required: Eye Protection, Dust Mask, Face Shield, Note Book, Bowl Gouge, Round Scraper, Parting Tool. Optional Tools: Cordless Drill With 3 Inch Sanding Pad. Description: This is one of our more advanced bowl turning classes. During the course of this class we will discuss how to harvest your own wood, so you have a better chance of the bark staying on the bowl. You will learn advanced tool techniques, how to keep the bark on the blank using CA adhesives, elements of design, form and function and different bowl mounting techniques. You will also learn techniques on keeping the wings of the bowl the same thickness and how to keep the wings aligned.
