About the Event
We will discuss in detail how to harvest your own wood. Best practices in logging, storing and understanding were the bowl and plater blanks are in the log. Chain saw work Yes we will cut up some logs. Tool selection and sharpening, please bring you tools if you have some. You will learn advanced tool techniques, how to keep the bark on the blank using CA adhesives, elements of design, form and function and different bowl mounting techniques. How to keep the wings of the bowl the same thickness and aligned with each other. This is a PRIVATE one-on-one. Some is recommended for this class. woodturning experience
