Class Description

Beginning and intermediate students will enjoy this informative, hands-on woodturning class. All equipment, tools, safety gear, and wood are provided. Students will explore faceplate turning, spindle turning, and off-center turning in a safe and supportive environment.

Each student has their own dedicated lathe and full set of tools. The variety of tools allows students to experience the differences between tool styles and brands, enabling them to make informed future purchases of tools and equipment.

I tailor the class to each individual’s needs, experience level, and goals. Students work at their own pace to maximize their learning experience in a fun and encouraging environment.

Everyone will leave with a smooth-rim bowl and the excitement that comes from learning the art of woodturning.
